The dial of the AIKON Automatic Chronograph Limited Edition bears the raised AIKON Automatic Chronograph pattern. Its small, regular squares appear here in a silvery grey colour. The red lacquered hands stand out against the deep hue of the blued flange and counters. Applied hour markers adorn the dial. Their strong, angular, bevelled design catches the light to perfection. The same goes for the polished contours of the date aperture. The elegant, energetic curves of the steel case express the modern, masculine feel that Maurice Lacroix has injected into the models. AIKON Automatic watches are descendants of the Maurice Lacroix Calypso. This steel watch was one of the brand’s iconic models in the 1980s and ‘90s and bore the same design codes that live on in the AIKON, such as the integrated case, the six-arm bezel surrounding a flat sapphire crystal and the strap marked with an applique M logo. In 2016, Maurice Lacroix produced a contemporary reinterpretation of this iconic piece with the quartz AIKON.
